Emotional Intelligence at Work
Anyone who has heard "it's not personal, it's just business" knows that it's often much more complicated. Our emotions drive our interactions in the workplace, and can derail a great team. This interactive and thought-provoking workshop will use movement and meditation to teach emotional intelligence, a key tool in organizational health.
What To Expect:
First, attendees are guided through a conversation on Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and provided breathing and meditation techniques for emotional recognition, regulation, empathy, and motivation. Attendees are then lead through a basic chair yoga practice, where they will learn how the body processes emotion through movement, followed by a group practice that encourages a team work and mutual support. Attendees will go home with breathing techniques they can implement in seconds to calm the mind, energize, or find focus.
